The SIMETT®ZJQ4116K is a bench drill with a wide range of applications. It uses a five-speed variable pulley system to allow the spindle to operate at five adjustable speeds. The headstock can move up and down along the round column and can be locked in place using the handle after adjusting to the desired position.

If the headstock needs to be lowered for operation, first adjust the safety ring to an appropriate position. Lock it with the set screw, loosen the handle, and let the headstock descend to the safety ring under its own weight. Then, tighten the handle again.

For light-duty operations, the drill can be placed on the workbench for drilling. For heavier operations, the worktable can be rotated away, and drilling can be performed directly on the base of the drill press.
